Brothers Rob and Mart decided to set up their eco-friendly clothing company after both becoming ill as a result of surfing in polluted waters. Based on the Isle of Wight and launched earlier this year, the company has two green factories: one in India powered by a wind farm, and a carbon offset plant in Turkey. The brothers have also imposed an ‘earth tax’ on all their revenues – 5% of all profits are donated to conservation charities.
