With the world we have around us, self-care has never been more important. We’ve all learnt a thing or two in recent months about giving ourselves attention and compassion, and Numan has stepped into the scene to make this a little easier for men, specifically.

In February 2019, Sokratis Papafloratos founded Numan – a digital healthcare company for men designed to help them prioritise sexual health, hair health, lung health, blood health and nutritional health (alongside a lot more).

Working towards its mission to help men be the healthiest versions of themselves, Numan uses its digital platform to give patients back the control over their overall wellbeing by offering access to treatments and clinicians.

‘Sweeping concerns under the rug’ can be a mass problem that Numan is determined to provide a solution for. The proactive company opens up the floor to conversations that tend to be difficult to have, including erectile dysfunction and hair loss.

Numan creates an assessment process online which lets men talk about sensitive issues, and has also partnered up with multinational pharmas and local laboratories to provide the right support to their patients – this is a mission we can definitely get behind.

Numan has done the research prior to offering its solutions. It found that over 50% of men who have taken a Numan blood test are at greater risk of heart attack and stroke due to high cholesterol. These are the kind of things Numan wants to be able to detect earlier on so help can be given before it reaches a life-threatening stage.
