The app has been backed by some seriously impressive names including being selected by Tech Nation as a Rising Star Finalist in 2020 and being given a £280,000 investment from InnovateUK.

After announcing a total of $11m (£9.9m) in seed funding last year, Worldr now has a significant amount of capital to help with scaling operations as it seeks to develop further secure layers for other communications platforms such as email.
