Let’s be honest, the marketing climate of 2024 would have Don Draper reaching for his old fashioned long before lunch. In a world where the effectiveness of traditional advertising is waning, businesses are crying out for help to reach the right audiences, without spending on campaigns that may have an uncertain return.

RE:INVENT is offering a refreshing new way for businesses to connect with relevant audiences, via a peer-to-peer ad network that allows D2C brands to share their audiences with each other.

Using customer data from participating brands, RE:INVENT is able to match brands together, so that they can run joint marketing campaigns for mutual benefit. This approach allows small companies to reach relevant customers and compete with larger brands.

The idea comes at a pivotal time for businesses, many of which are struggling to prioritise marketing budgets amid the economic downturn. Organic marketing reach is declining, and paid advertising is becoming more expensive. By sharing audiences, brands are able to reach a wider range of potential customers for reduced advertising costs.

The founders of RE:INVENT, Bryn Hassan and Maliha Rana, are both experienced entrepreneurs. Passionate about marketing, they understand the challenges facing D2C brands – particularly cash-poor SMBs – and are committed to providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

Traditional advertising can also be frustratingly wasteful, as businesses end up paying to reach people who are not interested in the product or service being advertised. RE:INVENT’s peer-to-peer network also serves to reduce waste by ensuring that ads are only seen by people who are likely to be interested in them.

While still in its early stages of development, RE:INVENT has already gained $120,000 in pre-seed funding from Antler, a leading early-stage VC firm.

RE:INVENT’s innovative approach to advertising is well-suited to the changing media landscape. As more and more brands move away from traditional advertising, RE:INVENT is perfectly poised for shaking up an industry in flux.
