Hospitality firms are struggling with labour shortages, but they still face high expectations from customers. In this context, innovative tools that can streamline processes behind the scene have become invaluable, allowing hotel, restaurant, bar and cafe owners to focus on the hands-on tasks that really need their attention.

Growyze is soon to be one such platform. It helps hospitality businesses make stock control faster and simpler with its easy-to-use inventory management software that streamlines purchasing, stocktaking, recipe costing and even automates invoice reconciliation – all while catching profit leaks and protecting your bottom line.

Cofounder Adi Hristova says growyze’s stock control software addresses a critical pain point for businesses: it’s on a mission to tackle the significant revenue losses in the hospitality industry caused by theft, administrative and supplier errors and waste – factors that drain 2-10% of revenue from businesses each year.

And growyze is growing. Now, the startup works with blockbusting brands including Holiday Inn, and has secured over £660k from angel investors and the Syndicate Room’s Access EIS Fund in 2023. It also has integrations and partnerships with Xero, Sage, Square and Clover.

Particular highlights from the past financial year? The cofounders cite interest from larger customers and well-known brands, additional investment from its investors, and being accepted into JP Morgan female leadership programme with mentors, to name a few.

“In five years, we see our business as being the easiest to use and slickest stock control software powered by tech, simplifying operations for customers worldwide,” says Hristova.

High staff turnover, combined with rising energy prices and inflation, compels today’s hospitality businesses to meticulously account for every penny. We’re big fans of how growyze is helping the industry recoup costs and streamline stock control to take back control of their business. Take a seat at the Startups 100 table, growyze!
